Why did you put together a "66" Day "NEW YOU" Project?

How often should I meet with my personal trainer?
That depends on your individual goals, fitness level and schedule, but our clients typically train two to four times per week. During your initial fitness evaluation & assessment, Ryan will learn what your needs and goals are and then develop a plan that best supports those goals.

What if I choose to use the COMPLETE TRAINING SYSTEM instead of a trainer?
This is a great option if you're a self starter and would like personalized workouts based on your level of expertise, equipment available, schedule & workout goals.  The system will revolutionize the way you work out and keep you motivated.  Once you enroll, you'll be self guided through a seamless process to get you FIT.   First, you'll complete a HEALTH SCREENING.  From there you'll complete your FITNESS ASSESSMENT with Ryan (there is only a $139 fee, which includes your customized workout.) After that, you'll access your GOALS & PREFRENCES page to implement goals.  Next, Ryan will customize a personalized FITness routine based on your GOALS.  Print your workout cards and you're off to the gym.  Workout cards will identify exercise to be performed along with set/rep count.  Don't know how to do the exercise?  Watch our videos online that will explain them in detail.  For a single session  fee,  Ryan will walk you through the pace of your workout along with each excercise.  Wanna chage it up? You also have the option to have Ryan change up your workout routine for a nominal charge of $99.

How long are your sessions?
60 Minute sessions are available.  It is recommended that you arrive 5 - 10 minutes early to warm up before your session.  If it is a travel session where Ryan travels to you, please warm up 5-10 minutes before your session.  There is a $20 Travel Fee.

Do you travel?
Yes, we will travel to your location within a 30 minute drive from FRANKLIN, TENNESSEE however there will be an extra $20 travel fee.  See below or RATES page for details

I worked with a personal trainer at the gym and didn't get good results.  Why should I try it again?

How do I pay for my personal training?
We offer flexible payment plans and accept cash, checks, all major credit cards and debit cards via PayPal.  Programs can be paid for all at once (for a discounted rate), or purchased via individual sessions fee. 

How much weight can I expect to lose?
If you follow Ryan's plan to a T, you can expect to lose an average of between 1-2 pounds of BODY FAT per week. Understand that your body takes a while to change its physiology to lose weight. It took a while to gain that weight, and it will take time to lose it. But if you don't get started now, it will just be delaying the time it takes you reach your goal weight. Ryan will help you track your progress and change up your workouts if you train with him.   Please understand  that in most cases, you must work out 4-5 times per week to reach the above weight loss goals.

Can't I just buy an exercise video instead of personal training?
You probably already have. Or you have a treadmill that's your new hanger or home gym or exercise gizmo of some kind. Most clients call on Ryan @ Cool Springs Personal Training  after having little or no success with infomercial products, exercise videos, diets and pills. Exercise videos (and the other gimmicks) can't take into account your personal needs and simply fail to address many of the important components of a complete fitness program that you get with a personal trainer and the accountability a trainer offers.

Isn't cardio exercise better for burning fat?
While cardio can certainly be an important part of an overall fitness program, without the strength training and nutrition components, you can end up doing a lot of work for little or no results, and in some cases even end up in worse shape. The most effective way to lose fat is through resistance training which develops and works lean muscle which helps you burn fat 24 hours a day. Cardio can easily be overdone, and should be done at the proper intensity, duration and frequency for best results

Will you tell me what to do on my "off" days?
On days that you do not work with Ryan for your one-on-one personal training session, you will be advised on when, how intense, and how much cardiovascular exercise you should do.  He will also make recommendations as to certain exercises that you can do while at home, traveling or on vacation with the COMPLETE TRAINING SYSTEM and NUTRITION PLANNER.

How do I get started? Steps to take:
1. Contact us HERE, and tell us about your goals. 
2. Ryan will get back with you to set up an appointment to discuss your goals.  Once you respond back via email, you'll receive a USERNAME and PASSWORD to access the site, please fill out USER info, Medical screen & Health questionaire 48 hours prior to our visit.  You are never under any obligation.
